Hotel was clean, easy to access and the staff was very nice. The rooms were clean, only thing I didn’t like was the shower. I travel a lot for work and like a nice shower to wash after a long day. The shower head was either like a pressure washer or a slight mist, just out in a decent shower head and would give 5 stars all around.

Well appointed room. Appeared clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Hot water was quick from sink and shower. Many amenities available that we didn't use. Ample parking and only 1-2 minute drive to the Texas Tech campus. The negatives were that a neighbor was exceptionally loud by allowing his door to repeatedly slam closed at midnight. Very annoying. Also, you can hear people in hallways.

I think this is a relatively new hotel. The rooms were pretty big and well laid out . The shower was hot and plenty powerful. Everything looked very clean and well maintained. The biggest gripe I have was the free internet Suuuuucked. I'm not even sure it worked at all. I don't know about the paid tier because I have unlimited data, so I just used that. Also a minor annoyance was it seems like no one is ever at the front desk. I only had to use the front desk twice and had to call for someone both times waiting several minutes both times. They were helpful and courteous once they were there though. It's not too far from the Buddy Holly Performance Hall but the surrounding neighborhoods look pretty sketchy. But we didn't have any issues, so it might just be perception.

Courtyard is one of the best hotel I have been too and so pretty and clean! Tatiana is an amazing front desk associate and very helpful with anything that is needed!

My experience at this hotel was great before I even arrived. I had to reschedule my week due to a winter storm. Tatiana assisted me in moving up my reservation two days. When I arrived, the room was clean, in good repair, and well stocked. I was supposed to leave on Tuesday, but had to extend my stay to Tuesday, and then Wednesday due to a winter storm in central Texas. Throughout my stay, all of the staff were helpful. Update 8/26/23 - A room was ready for me at 2:17 PM, but the hotel was going to charge me a $25 “early check-in” fee if I checked in before 3:00 PM. I replied that I’ve never heard of that before, and the person helping me said the owner is “very strict”about that. So heads up if you plan to arrive early.

Would rate this a 4 or 5 but the floors/ceilings are hollow. Was woken up at 430am because every foot step in room above me was like a hammer pounding on my ceiling.

The Bistro was lacking. For breakfast, the coffee was lukewarm. Had to wait for another pot to be brewed. The egg breakfast cost more than the CY in Santa Fe and the scrambled eggs were overcooked, brown, tough & dry. Educate the cook!!!
